We had a lovely time staying at this hotel. Everything was perfect during 1 day, thoroughly enjoyed its perfect and particularly good location so close to France, a restaurant by a river and a river. We had central heating, a study table, and a private entrance in the twin room. Overlooked city.

The location was nice, very close to a restaurant by a river as well as France. I truly enjoyed the marvellous and delightful room with 1 queen-size bed and 1 single bed. - I stayed 1 night and can't wait to come back when visiting France.

The breakfast was absolutely mind-blowing with homemade jams, traditional cakes, and an amazing selection of treats. Sandrine, our host, was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The garden was lovely and perfect for the kids to play in. The location was conveniently close to the motorway and a charming small town. A detour into the town of Auxonne is definitely worth it for a few hours visit. The owners were the friendliest and made our stay so enjoyable. We could have easily stayed here for a week! The rooms were stylish and clean, and the garden was jaw-dropping with lots of games and toys for the children. The breakfast was one of the best we've had during all our travels with so many homemade delights. The hosts even offered their beautiful garden for us to have dinner when we arrived. Perfect for a short stop on our way to the south of France. The French breakfast was absolutely amazing with numerous homemade treats.

Continental breakfast: I had the most delightful morning at the guest house, indulging in their delicious continental breakfast spread. With a variety of fresh pastries and steaming cups of coffee, it felt like I was transported straight to a Parisian bakery.
Steep stairs: The only minor issue I encountered was the slightly steeper stairs leading up to the rooms. While it added a charming character to the establishment, it did require extra caution when carrying heavy or bulky items like suitcases.

We had an amazing stay at Les Laurentides in Athee. Sandrine, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had a fantastic experience. the breakfast was outstanding, with homemade jams, traditional cakes, and a variety of delicious treats. We even received a special gift of homemade jam made from fresh reine claude plums from Sandrine's orchard. the garden surrounding the pool was beautiful and well-maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was a pleasure to have breakfast with other guests and exchange tips about the area. We also received a fantastic recommendation to visit a local cheese shop and fruit and vegetable kiosk, where we found incredible produce for a perfect lunch.
Nothing negative to say 😊.
